Glitchcraft

Shaka McGlotten

What can the glitch teach us? "Glitchcraft" stages encounters between black study, queer theory, and the messy computational entanglements of everyday media — treating error, noise, and breakdown not as failure but as a craft and a queer-of-color way of being with machines.

About this session

An anthropologist and artist, Shaka McGlotten works at the seams between media, art, and queer-of-color lifeworlds. Glitchcraft approaches the glitch as method — a way of reading networked intimacies and the breakdowns that reveal how our systems actually work.
